SAP FICO Lead – 12-Month Contract

Location: Zurich Area, Switzerland
Working Model: Hybrid (1–2 days onsite per week)
Contract Length: 12 months (extension likely)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead to support a large-scale SAP finance transformation for a well-established organization in the Zurich area. You will take ownership of the SAP Finance workstream, act as the key interface between business and IT, and guide the solution from design through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP FICO workstream (FI, CO) across implementation and optimization phases
• Gather and translate business requirements into SAP FICO solutions
• Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules in line with business needs
• Act as the main point of contact for finance stakeholders
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, SAP Technical, external partners)
• Support testing phases (SIT/UAT), data migration, and go-live activities
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants
• Ensure best practices and SAP standards are followed

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Lead / Senior Consultant
• Deep knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (CCA, PCA, IO, COPA)
• Experience leading SAP finance implementations or major rollouts
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a lead role
• Previous experience working in Switzerland or similar regulated environments is a plus
• Fluency in English required; German is a strong advantage
