Oracle Reporting Lead – OACS
This role will involve delivering end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (primarily ERP and HCM), Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OACS) to support project implementations, technical development, and system optimization.
Working closely with solution architects defining the business transformation, you will assist customers in developing reporting strategies that align with their program objectives and then execute those strategies to deliver accurate, insightful, and performance-optimized reporting solutions.
You will play a key role in adopting and leveraging these tools to deliver innovative reporting solutions for our customers. However, the role will also require you to have an excellent understanding of the challenges of Oracle reporting workstreams such that you will be able to provide strong leadership to the reporting delivery team.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the successful and timely delivery of Oracle Cloud reporting and analytics solutions across ERP and HCM, often within a global program context. This includes managing a team of reporting specialists for the design, development, testing, and support of reporting components and dashboards. Tasks may also include:
- Hands on Development of reports and analytics using Oracle tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), and Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OACS).
- Design and execution of reporting strategies, ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and alignment with business objectives. This involves defining the overall reporting approach, creating reporting roadmaps, and establishing best practices for analytics delivery.
- Creation of Detailed Reporting Specifications: Work closely with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into clear, actionable reporting specifications, including data sources, filters, layouts, KPIs, and security rules.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: This includes regular updates to stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks, proactively address potential reporting challenges, resolving data-related issues, and managing dependencies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for reporting solutions, report specifications, test plans, and security guidelines.
- Validation and Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing and reconciliation processes to confirm reporting accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide strong leadership to the reporting delivery team, fostering best practices and continuous improvement in reporting methodologies.

Key Deliverables:
- Delivery of reporting strategies, detailed reporting project plans, reporting trackers.
- Development and deployment of OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI, and OACS components aligned with functional and technical requirements.
- Comprehensive Reporting Specifications for all reports and dashboards, detailing data sources, KPIs, layouts, and security considerations.
- Unit testing and validation of reports and dashboards to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Support for existing reporting structures, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements.
- Adherence to best practices and documented development standards.
- Collaboration with Oracle Support and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Reporting of Oracle ERP/HCM Implementations and upgrades.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud reporting projects including OTBI, BI Publisher, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), and Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OACS).
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL processes and solid understanding of Oracle Cloud data models across ERP and HCM modules, including technical data dictionaries and relationships.
- Should have strong leadership and team management skills with abilities to motivate and guide a team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance considerations in cloud reporting environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with periods of high pressure.
- Flexibility to support new technologies and evolving reporting approaches.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
