💡 Mission
The U.S. system for managing complex, time-sensitive processes is often inefficient and confusing. People shouldn’t need to sift through layers of bureaucracy or technical complexity to get the support they need. This team is building a platform designed to simplify and streamline these experiences for millions.
🩺 About Us
We’re a well-funded, early-stage startup led by an experienced operator from a major technology company. Backed by top-tier founders and investors, we’ve raised $17M and are resourced to continue building for several years.
🔎 About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior/Staff-level Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to help scale our core systems and internal developer experience. You’ll play a key role in building reliable infrastructure, improving engineering workflows, and ensuring strong security and compliance foundations.
Key Responsibilities:
AI & API Integration
• Expose and configure internal API and MCP access to support engineering and operations
• Improve efficiency, cost-control, and security across infrastructure interactions
Developer Experience
• Optimize a large TypeScript monorepo and Nx build system
• Migrate tooling from CommonJS to ESM
• Enhance DevContainers and Docker-based workflows
CI/CD & Automation
• Improve GitHub Actions pipelines with faster runners and better caching
• Manage multi-environment deployments using Pulumi
Infrastructure Management
• Maintain AWS services including ECS, Aurora RDS, VPC networking, and observability stack
• Manage access provisioning and environment configuration
Security, Compliance & MDM
• Support initiatives around data protection, RBAC, encryption, and monitoring
• Establish and enforce device management and SaaS security standards
Monitoring & Observability
• Enhance performance monitoring across web and mobile
• Reduce on-call load and improve alerting/visibility
Access Control & Internal Systems
• Implement role-based access policies
• Support user and admin management across internal tools
👩💻 What We’re Looking For
• 5–10+ years in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering
• Strong understanding of SOC2, compliance, and security best practices
• Ability to build scalable automation rather than relying solely on configuration
• Experience with MDM tools, SaaS admin, and modern cloud-native environments
• Comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Clear, concise communication skills
• Mission-driven mindset and excitement for solving complex systems problems
📢 You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply—if you’re passionate about building high-impact infrastructure at an early-stage company, we’d love to meet you.
