Our client (via Global Consultancy) is also hiring Java/API Engineers who combine backend/API development with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and modern observability tooling. This role supports API platform development and integration within a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java‑based APIs and backend services
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Integrate APIs with Azure services and cloud‑native components
• Implement monitoring, logging, and APM tooling for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with platform and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Contribute to automation, testing, and deployment processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Java/API development background
• Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, automation)
• Understanding of cloud‑native patterns and API lifecycle
• Familiarity with observability tools (APM, logging, metrics)
• English‑speaking (Dutch not required)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes or containerised workloads
• Knowledge of Azure API Management or similar API gateways
• Experience in enterprise or financial environments

Location & Ways of Working

• Based near Amsterdam

1–2 days onsite per week (flexible)
