Senior Test Automation Engineer | Stockholm Hybrid | ASAP Start

I’m currently looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to support a complex trading platform environment, focused on building and improving automation frameworks across backend-heavy, distributed systems.

This is a hands-on role combining test automation, manual testing where required, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering across modern Java-based platforms.

Key experience required:

• Strong Java 21+ automation experience
• Test automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration and API testing
• Selenium, Playwright, JUnit/TestNG, Cucumber or similar
• REST Assured or similar API testing tools
• Spring Boot and Hibernate testing experience
• SQL and relational database validation
• Kafka, JMS or MQ for asynchronous/event-driven systems
• OpenAPI / AsyncAPI knowledge
• Git, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tooling
• Strong manual testing experience across complex backend/distributed systems
• Ability to design clear test cases, exploratory charters and reusable automation frameworks

Contract details:

• Stockholm hybrid, minimum 3 days onsite
• ASAP start
• Rolling contract
