Job Title: SAP Functional Consultants – PP, IBP, and DM (Digital Manufacturing)

Client: Tier 1 Consultancy (FMCG End Client) 
Project: S/4HANA and SAP IBP Greenfield Implementation
Location: Remote (occasional travel to Italy and/or Germany)
Start Date: 12th January 2026
Duration: 15-month initial contract, extensions expected through 2029
Language: English (Italian desirable)

Overview

Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking SAP Functional Consultants with expertise in SAP PP, SAP IBP, and SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) to support a large-scale S/4HANA and IBP Greenfield implementation for a major FMCG organisation.

This long-term programme will play a critical role in transforming supply chain, planning, and manufacturing operations across multiple regions. Consultants will work as part of an international team to deliver best-in-class SAP solutions and ensure successful deployment and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional expertise in SAP PP, SAP IBP, or SAP DM within an S/4HANA Greenfield implementation.

  • Translate business requirements into SAP system solutions and configurations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes.

  • Support testing, training, and go-live activities across multiple business units.

  • Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

  • Communicate effectively with global teams in English, providing clear documentation and knowledge transfer.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP, IBP, or DM (Digital Manufacturing) modules.

  • Proven S/4HANA project experience – Greenfield implementation preferred.

  • Experience within the FMCG industry highly advantageous.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Italian language skills a plus.

  • Ability to work remotely across global teams, with flexibility for occasional travel to Italy and/or Germany.

  • Candidates may be based anywhere globally (except India).

  • Time zone alignment: TBC (likely CET or EST).
