Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced PE/MES Manufacturing Consultant to join our Information Services (IS) team based in France with opportunities to travel to the US. You will be on a contract role with scope for extension. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end delivery of IS global application projects within your functional domain. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the existing IS team and provide valuable insights and guidance on best practices and strategies related to SAP and our custom Manufacturing Execution System (MES) while working with world leading brands.
This role is hybrid with a 75% split while in the implementation, concept and development stage. 100% on site will be required during the Cutover and Go Live period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver global application projects within the PE/MES domain.
• Provide expertise and guidance on SAP and custom MES systems.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements to existing systems.
Necessary Skills:
• You will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Global template implementation experience
• Proven experience in manufacturing consultancy, with a focus on PE/MES solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent ability to gain a consensus from a team with varying opinions.
• Effective understanding of discrete manufacturing processes
• Necessary SAP skills:
• PP
• PP/SFC (Shop Floor Control)
• Basic WM knowledge
• Fluent French and English abilities (spoken and written)
