Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer - Azure Migration (On-Premise to Cloud)

Location: Brussels | Type: Contract/Freelance

Candidate must be located within the Benelux Region.

About Us:

Our client is a growing tech company leading a cloud transformation and are looking for a Azure DevOps Engineer for an Azure Migration Project, this role has emphasis on Kubernetes. This project involves migrating on-prem applications to Azure using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of on-prem applications to Azure with Kubernetes orchestration.
• Design, implement, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and integration.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Kubernetes deployments in a cloud environment.
• Support and improve Kubernetes-based solutions post-migration.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps/Kubernetes, especially cloud migration.
• Previous experience migrating from on premise to Azure cloud.
• Strong expertise in Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficient in containerization (Docker) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

Preferred But Not Essential:

• Azure certifications.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid setups.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
