Analytics Lead – SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics – REMOTE contract!

We have an existing opportunity with a European manufacturing client as follows:

Role:                     Analytics and Data Management Lead (SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics)
Start:                    14th of October
End:                      31st of March, 2025 (possibility to extend)
Location:             REMOTE
 
  • Consolidate Analytics and reporting needs
  • Coordinate analytics decisions-making for Programme implementation
  • Safeguard delivery of S/4HANA Embedded Analytics reporting applications to be delivered Ensure that critical reporting applications outside SAP S/4HANA, that are dependent on using S/4HANA data, have been agreed from a scope perspective for Programme’s Global Template & Roll-Ins
  • Identify future reporting requirements for the Programme  
  • Define Programme governance for Reporting & Analytics. Define approach to analyze and confirm reporting requirements – anticipated to be down to L4 S/4HANA processes.
  • Define transition approach for Reporting & Analytics
  • Work with test manager to define testing approach for Analytics and coordinate test activities during roll-in delivery
  • Work with change manager to define training approach for Analytics and coordinate training activities during roll-in delivery
  • Conceptual/Strategic understanding of Analytics – drive strategic clarifications where needed, together with relevant stakeholders, both within the Program and with the Line Organization
  • Run Analytics requirement gathering workshops if needed Work with Test Manager to coordinate and perform testing of Analytics & Reporting inside S/4HANA together with Programme Process Teams
  • Work with Test Manager and BICC/BI Network, to coordinate and perform testing of Analytics & Reporting outside S/4HANA, for Enterprise Level reports in PowerBI if consuming S/4HANA data via Data Warehouse.
  • For Roll-In purpose, work with BICC and local Business Teams to consider currently running local reports consuming ERP data, and help coordinate decision-making going forward what should be replaced or not.
  • Track Programme Analytics implementation progress

Required skills
  • Experience in large-scale ERP implementations Analytics & Reporting Experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong skills in planning and driving work forward
  • Experience of SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics
  • Finance background / knowledge
  • Power BI knowledge
